At Insignia Maritime we can provide all types of Marine services with both our in house knowledge, and utilisation of our vast network of high quality sub contractors. No job is too big nor too small.
Storage
Our most popular service we provide is the secure storage of vessels, ranging from small ribs to large pleasure or fishing vessels. Located minutes away from Cowes high street on the banks of the river medina, our secure yard is the go-to place to get your vessel sea-shape or for longer term storage out of the water.
Lifting
To aid us in the lifting of boats from the river into the yard, we have a 14 tonne KATO crane available. Just pull up alongside the quay wall and we will do the rest. With our various types of rigging equipment, we can lift your boat onto the hard in the safest way possible. We also provide crane hire for heavy lifts, such as engine or generator removal, and tall lifts such as mast removal.
Antifouling
Maintenance of your boats hull is extremely important, which is why we provide high quality antifoul paint application services. Using industry standard paints for long lasting results we will ensure your hull stays as clean for as long as possible. We can also provide antifouling paint at competitive prices for DIY antifouling.
Fibreglass
With a fibreglass specialist in house, and experienced sub contractors, we provide both fibreglass repairs and fabrication. This also includes gelcoat repairs and cut/polishing of gelcoat.
Cleaning and polishing
Cleaning and polishing of gelcoat and painted surfaces is necessary for the longevity of your boat. Using industry standard products and methods, we can provide a high quality finish to protect the surface of your boat.
Engineering services
With an experienced marine engineer on site, and a vast network of sub contractors, all marine engineering works can be completed. We also have a fully furnished workshop for any other engineering or fabrication tasks. MIG and TIG welders are available should welding be required.
Electrical services
Whether a bilge pump needs to be replaced, or a complete rewire, our team can complete the job, With strong knowledge of electrical engineering and modern equipment, any job is possible. We strive to produce the highest quality workmanship - even in the hard to reach areas.
Trailer and equipment hire
We have a collection of specialised tools and equipment available for hire from our workshop. Trailers can also be hired from the yard should you need to move your boat. Our trailers can accommodate ribs or small cruisers up to 9 metres.
